CHORUS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!

Chorus is a year-long class open to all students of Lovinggood Middle School. There is a chorus class for each grade level. Sixth grade students are welcome to join during their sixth grade year. We do not offer beginning chorus classes for 7th and 8th grade. All students are encouraged to participate in the class all of their years at Lovinggood!

6th Grade Chorus Events

The chorus serves two purposes:

LMS Sixth Grade Honor Chorus
GMEA Statewide Sixth Grade Honor Chorus
Winter Concert
Spring Concert
Show Choir
Boys Choir
Six Flags Choral Festival performance

Chorus teaches students how to read music appropriate for their grade level
Chorus teaches students how to perform various styles of music.

BOYS CHOIR

All boys of LMS are invited to join the Boys Choir. This group meets weekly before school to rehearse songs that are specifically arranged for boys! Members of the Boys Choir are not required to be in chorus.

SHOW CHOIR

All chorus students are eligible to audition for the show choir. This group will sing popular music while dancing! Put on your dancin' shoes and join in the fun!

SIXTH GRADE HONOR CHORUS

The Lovinggood Sixth Grade Honor Chorus is an auditioned group of chorus students. The students with the highest audition scores often represent Lovinggood at state-level event!
